Overview
The Multimodal Transportation Analysis (MTA) guidelines were created to better understand the impact proposed developments have on the mobility and safety of all road users. The submitted MTAs will assist the City of Mt. Juliet in the evaluation of whether the proposed development or redevelopment is appropriate for a particular site and determine appropriate mitigation measures to maintain the integrity of the surrounding transportation systems. All MTAs must be prepared by or under the supervision of a Professional Engineer, registered in the State of Tennessee, who has specific training in transportation engineering. Proposed developments shall contact the City Traffic Engineer PRIOR to Planning Commission submittal.
