Overview
Construction plan review is a necessary step in the permitting process between Planning Commission approval and issuance of the land disturbance permit.
Construction plans of private development plans and projects are review to ensure compliance with City standard specifications/criteria.
If a project involves land disturbance of any kind, an erosion control permit and land disturbance permit may be required.
Submittal Process
Construction plans and drainage reports are to be submitted in PDF format and emailed to Shane Shamanur. Plans are reviewed on a first come first serve basis and review times will depend on workload. A plan review fee shall be paid before review commences. Re-review fees are assessed after the second reveiw cycle.
After plans are reviewed, comments will be issued to whomever submitted the drawings. Once comments have been satisfied, final sets will be requested. These sets will be stamped as the approved documents. After plans have been approved, a pre-construction meeting is required before construction can begin.
