Appointments

  • Shall consist of 4 members, who are residents.
  • Appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Board of Commissioners.
  • Terms are 3 years, with staggered terms. 
  • The Chief of Police shall serve as a voting member. 
  • The Fire Chief shall serve as a voting member. 
  • The City Manager shall serve but have no right to vote except in the event of a tie

Purpose

The purpose of the commission is to provide the framework for standard traffic control and parking within the Mt. Juliet jurisdiction.
