Flex Team & K9 Unit
The Flex Unit of our department is a dynamic team that includes a Supervisor, three Officers, and two K9s. This unit adapts its patrols based on identified crime trends within the community, effectively addressing neighborhood and area-specific issues. By employing increased enforcement and innovative methods, the Flex Unit operates during peak crime times to ensure maximum impact.
Meet Our K9s
K9 Majlo and Citron are “dual purpose” dogs, expertly trained to perform a variety of tasks, including building searches, tracking missing persons or suspects, conducting article searches, detecting narcotics, and apprehending criminals. These dedicated K9s patrol alongside their human partners in specially equipped vehicles, ensuring their comfort and readiness throughout their workday.
