Overview

We are a dedicated, career municipal fire department committed to protecting our community with excellence and expertise. Holding an ISO Class 3 rating, we demonstrate our strong capabilities in fire suppression, emergency medical services, and fire prevention. Our department is led by Fire Chief Mark Foulks, with Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Edwards supporting daily operations and strategic direction.

Emergency Medical Services (EMS) are overseen by Chief Eric Newman, ensuring our team is equipped to provide rapid, life-saving care. Fire Marshal Brent Blamires leads our fire prevention services, focusing on reducing risk and educating the public on safety measures. Additionally, Chief of Training Scott Lively is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of professional development within the department, ensuring that our personnel are always prepared for any emergency.

The department operates with a robust team of 72 operational personnel, supported by 8 administrative staff. Our three strategically located fire stations and central administrative headquarters enable us to respond quickly to a diverse range of emergencies. On average, we handle approximately 5,000 calls annually, ranging from fires and rescues to medical emergencies and hazardous incidents.
