This free, 11-week program meets Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and offers hands-on training in a welcoming environment. Each session covers various aspects of policing, including:

  • Patrol Functions
  • Investigative Functions
  • Community Engagement

  • Special Response Team Operations

  • SWAT & K-9 Demonstrations

  • And much more!

Graduates receive a Certificate of Completion at the final session and then have the opportunity to be a part of the Citizens Police Academy Alumni volunteer team, which assists the department in many ways!
