  3. WHAT IS EXPLORING?
    Exploring is Learning for Life’s career education program for young men and women who are at least 14 (and have completed the eighth grade) or 15 years of age but not yet 21 years old. FDMJ's Explorer Post meets two nights each month and is designed to allow youth to explore the profession of firefighting. FDMJ Explorers who complete a rigorous training program are allowed to ride on FDMJ apparatus and respond to fire related incidents.
