Board of Commissioners - Public Notice NEW DATE

The Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Mt. Juliet will NOThave a Quorum on Monday, July 8, 2019 this meeting has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 9, 2019.  A Public Hearing will be held at 6:15 PM to consider the following on 2nd and Final Reading:

  • Amend the City of Mt. Juliet Code, Chapter 4 – Alcoholic Beverages, Sections 4-79:  Prohibited Acts or Conduct: Enforcement Authority and to add Section 4-70-1:  Transaction Scan Devices.

·         Amend the City of Mt. Juliet City Code, Chapter 30, Utilities, Section 30-367 “Outside City Customers”.

  • Amend Adequate Facility Fee to include Single Family dwelling with fee going to Emergency Services.
  • Approval of the FY 2019/2020 Budget.

The above items will be considered on 2nd reading along with the following items that will be considered during the Regular Meeting at 6:30 PM:

  • Approval of the Minutes of the June 10, 209 and June 24, 2019 Board of Commissioner Meetings
  • Appointment of District 4 Commissioner
  • 1st Reading to Amend the FY 2018/2019 Budget for Police Digital Evidence Equipment
  • 1st Reading to Amend the City Charter Section 6-20-2014 Compensation of Mayor and Commissioners
  • 1st Reading on the approval of the Hibbett Station Preliminary Master Development Plan
  • 1st Reading on the Rezone of the Patel Property, located at 13820 Lebanon Road, Map 053, Parcel 143.00 from RS-40 to Commercial Retail Center (CRC)
  • 1st Reading to amend the Land Development Code/Zoning Ordinance to add a new Section to Article III providing for the installation and maintenance of Small Wireless Facilities in the Public Right-of-Way
  • Resolution to Approve an agreement with the City of Mt. Juliet and the TN Department of Transportation for the Central Pike (SR-265) Interchange with Interstate 40 and authorizing the Mayor to sign the agreement
